“25
Expressions of Mexican Art”, is organized by Gilda Solis
Milnes, an
art studio director, teacher, artist, and promoter of Mexican
Art.
The theme of this group exhibition is open to each artist’s
interpretation of their own backgrounds, roots and culture.
The show includes artists who have presented their work throughout
the world, as well as a large number of professors from the
well-known art school “Esmeralda” in Mexico City.
The interest is in finding a connection between the artist and
his or her own race. By means of the plastic arts, they show
us where they live, what their philosophies and political views
are, and their impressions of the culture that surrounds them.
